Puppy photos here
Some puppies from our early Spring 2008 litter are already
reserved. Please contact us if you would like more information
Our puppies are
raised in our home, cuddled and played with. They toddle out of
their bed at about 3 weeks of age and start using newspaper to piddle
on. At about the same time they start spending time in a plastic
kid's pool in the middle of the kitchen floor. By then their mama is
glad to have some relaxing time on the couch. They become
familiar with household activities, sounds, and other people. We see
them starting to play with toys and each other at that stage and
within a week of that they're starting to nibble at puppy food - mom
still spending lots of time with them and teaching them to play and
how to coax cookies from anyone who happens by. At about six
weeks of age they will individually spend a short amount of time in a
travel crate so that is familiar to them.
When they leave
our home at about 9 weeks of age, they take with them a "puppy
package" which contains helpful information, their medical record, an
extended pedigree, some food, a blanket and toy they are familiar
with. They will have had one or two vaccinations, a check-up by their
veterinarian, deworming, and an identifying tattoo on their
tummies. Their registration papers will follow shortly after the
transfer is sent to the Canadian Kennel Club.
We really like
to keep in touch with our puppy people, welcome all questions, and do
everything we can so that the puppy we love becomes a loved and loving
member of your family. And we especially like to have photos!
You'll see lots in our photo gallery of Lucky,
Aiden, "the Turner girls", and others who have gone into wonderful
homes.
